Sogi Park is a scenic park in Toki City, Gifu Prefecture, renowned for its beautiful autumn foliage. It has been selected as one of the 33 Best Autumn Foliage Spots in Hida and Mino and attracts many visitors each year during the fall season.
The park is home to approximately 300 trees, including Japanese maples, other maple varieties, and ginkgo trees. Eight ponds of various sizes are scattered throughout the grounds.
In autumn, the trees turn brilliant shades of red, orange, and yellow. Their colors are reflected on the still pond surfaces, creating a spectacular scene known as “upside-down autumn foliage.” The mirror-like reflections make the park especially enchanting and offer wonderful opportunities for photography.
Magical Reflections: The vivid autumn leaves reflected on the pond surfaces create a breathtaking landscape that appears almost like a painting.
Approximately 300 Trees: A variety of trees change color throughout the season, creating a rich tapestry of autumn hues.
