Each season provides a different way to appreciate the mountain environment.

Events and Seasonal Programs Throughout the Year

Ikoma Sanroku Park hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including nature-based activities, seasonal festivals, and sporting competitions. Many programs bring local residents and visitors together, creating opportunities to discover the outdoors, participate in group activities, and enjoy the park in new ways. The variety of events helps make it a popular destination for repeat visits.

History and Development of the Park

The park was developed on the former site of Ikoma Tech, an amusement facility that once operated in the area. It opened in 1991 and was initially owned by Ikoma City and managed by the Ikoma City Fureai Promotion Foundation. To improve operational efficiency and make better use of the facilities, the city later introduced a designated management system under which outside organizations were entrusted with park operations.

The management arrangements have changed over the years:

From April 2009: Managed and operated by the Daishinto–NAC joint venture.

From July 2014: Managed and operated by the Montbell–Aobani joint venture.

From July 2024: Managed and operated by a joint venture involving Xymax Kansai and Advance Co., Ltd.

Today, the park draws on private-sector experience to provide facilities and services with a stronger focus on visitors’ needs.
